Bonn International Toastmasters
Toastmasters is helpful, ….
If lecturing before a large audience, moderating a team discussion, or providing a live radio or TV interview makes you break out in a sweat, then Bonn International Toastmasters (BIT) is the right place to address these challenges. Because public speaking shouldn’t cause pain. In fact, it can (and should) be a thrill. Plus, it will help you both in your professional and private life.
BIT meets every thursday. On the 1st, 3rd and 5th Thursday of each month at 18:00 in the UN building, on the 2nd and 4th Thursday at 19:00 in varying other locations. Make sure you check the homepage and the agenda!
Bonn International Toastmasters is a part of Toastmasters International, a global non-profit organization whose goal it is to enhance and expand the public speaking abilities of its members. Giving speeches; moderating meetings; and providing constructive feedback to others helps develop a sense of your own strengths — and areas that can be improved. The Toastmasters’ concept depends on a peer-teaching process. Participation, whether as speaker, listener, or feedback giver, advances the goals of everyone. Yet if this doesn’t convince you, then take time one evening to see what it’s really like. Guests are always welcome.
